School is Falso

school.... yea.... about that....

Not many people like school but yet we have to go through it for at least 13 years. How in the world does that add up? Monday through Friday, almost every teenager in america is getting up early, getting dressed, and heading off to school. Seven hours later, we're officially brain dead, half asleep, and ready to go home. BOR-ING!

Yes, there are certain parts of school that I like; being with most of my friends and math, but that's not enough to keep me coming back day after day for 13 years. Teachers, seriously, don't you see that 1/2 of your students are asleep within ten minutes of class starting? In order to get somewhere in life, we have to have a good education but we don't need to learn the inside of our eye lids everyday. Then what about college? I went with my sister to a day of her classes up at UNI and they were a little interesting but I still was bored out of my mind. What is so wrong with making learning fun? There has to be some way that you can keep the kids awake for seven hours out of the day!

Back to my college point.... in our generation in order to get a job that can make you into something, you have to go to college and rock at it at the same time. We don't spend thousands of dollars each semester to practice burger flipping techniques and the line, "you want fries with that?" We go to get away from home, learn about something that we love, and set us free into the true business world.

I personally find school ridiculous because all we do is read our information, god forbid there'd be a game or activities any more, but it's a high necesity in life. Spice it up a bit... make us stay awake.
