Research Possibilities

• One topic that I'm interested in researching is tourettes syndrome. Almost everyone that I know has little "tourettes" moments with random outbursts, but if you really think about it, it's not a disease that many people know about and if they do, they don't know exactly what it is or what it entails. So I want to write about how it affects people's life, how they cope with it, and how it affects the people around them as well. It's a horrible disease that I think people should at least know the basics about.
• Another topic that I'm interested in is depression. There are millions of american's suffering from this disorder and I'm sick of people saying that they're depressed because something went wrong in their life. Depression is something that people over diagnose or joke about but there are people that end their lives because of it.
• And of course hockey, my true love. I love watching the sport and I even once tried to play, that didn't turn out too well though. My room, amoung other things, is decorated with hockey posters, pictures, pucks, flyers, and banners. I want to learn about the earlier years of the sport including: jerseys, rules, equipment, teams, etc. But also how the sport truely got started.
