WHERE ARE YOU!?
i quit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't worry, I'm OK now. Seriously, where is my summer!? 6 full days then 2 days of finals til I can find it! It's about damn time if you ask me!
Junior year has officially kicked my @$$ and didn't take any mercy. Pure poopy if you ask me. Between a year ahead in math and science, AP course, and Spanish, my poor brain left me 1/2 way through the school year and I have a feeling it's not coming back. It's moved on to someone stupid. Now I'm not saying that I'm a mini Einstein here, but I'm not stupid (most of the time).
The two classes that knocked me out cold were AP Lang and Spanish. I absolutely hated those classes! Oh my Jesus they were bad.
I joined AP because I love writing more than a lot of things, but we hardly ever wrote in that class and when we finally did, it was over the dumbest stuff you could think of. No offense to Mr. Ayers, but I just didn't understand the point of our topics. Then when I managed to puke out a rough draft, then finally a final draft, he hated my writing because I was too opinionated and took no mercy. That's how I am in real life, why would my writing portray anything different?
Then Spanish. You probably don't want to know my true opinion on that class, plus if someone were to read this that has authority, I'd get myself in a whole lot of trouble. Trust me, I can do that on my own w/o someone tattling lol. Back to my point, I don't understand how one language, just ONE, could have so many tenses, subject crap, endings, rules, etc. I can barely speak great english let alone master a complete different one. My mom thinks I rock at spanish, but compared to her, I'm pretty sure someone taking German would even be better. Everything we learn in that class doesn't even make it into one ear to go out the other, it just flies about 100 feet above over my head. That's not good!
So here's my final words to my junior year...... I QUIT!

Inked!
Here's the deal, I want a tattoo. For my 18th birthday, Megan and I want to go and get one as a huge celebration. WE'RE 18 WOOT! Problem......
mom and dad :\
When my sister was 18 or 19 she came home with a tattoo and my mom didn't speak to her for three days and my dad... well you don't want to know what he had to say. But here's what I'm thinking, my parents already know that I don't listen to them, and 3 or so days of pure anger don't seem too bad since I'm going to have the tattoo forever. I don't know... maybe.
There's a few ideas that I have of ones that I really really want. The first one is a huge butterfly on my right foot. I've put temporary ones just to see about how it would look and I'm officially in love. It looks so tight I don't know what I'm going to do with myself (god I'm such a dork lol). Another one that I really want, is on my left foot. I want a cluster of stars by my little toe. It'll make more sense if I were to show you, but I can't find a picture of what I'm talking about and I don't feel like uploading a picture right now. And finally, another idea that I have is getting 2 shamrocks on my under wrist (is that even a word!?). My family is a big Irish lovin' group and I think it would look really tight.
Another problem... pain! I hear that the top of your foot and wrist are some of the most painful spots to get a tattoo at. OOPS! I guess I'll have to suck it up and just scream my head off while I'm getting inked. Sounds like fun doesn't it? :\
Yesterday Megan and I were talking and I found out that she also wants a tattoo. So for our 18th birthday, her and I want to go get colorful. Our parents are going to beat us senseless but that doesn't mean much considering her and I are mentally challenged when around each other any ways. Luckily, our birthdays are 23 days apart so we could even go in April, the month of our birthdays. Sure, I'm scared poop less but I think that in the end I'm going to love it, and it's another memory Megan and I will share, this time it's a guarantee that this will last a life time.

Oh Children...
Are kids necessary? I mean really?
At my work, there are lots and lots of kids come in with their families, then eventually and FINALLY they leave then it's our turn to take over and clean up after them. I'm sick and tired of cleaning up after a million messy kids that get more food on the floor than they do in their mouth! Sure, they're freaking adorable, but not when you have to change their pants or give them 8 baths. Don't get me wrong, I do love babysitting (really) but I usually don't feed them but if I do, they can wash themselves and they know how to use the potty.
One thing that I just can't wrap my mind around is, even when there's absolutely nothing around for them to get into, they always seem to make a mess! A quote from my favorite show, Gilmore Girls, adds great affect to my point. This is Luke talking to Lorelei "I hate kids! They always seem to have jam hands! Even when there's no jam around, they always seem to get it all over them, JAM HANDS!" Like I said, I don't hate kids, but it's true. They always seem to get random things all over them even if there's nothing around.
Now to the future, my mom wants a million grandchildren, and my sister nor I want kids. Oops, sorry mom. What her and I both want though, are lots of animals. Right now, my sister and her boyfriend have two HUGE black labs that are the love of all of our lives, and she wants a few more when they get a bigger place. When I'm older, I want a few cats, a few dogs, and rabbits. The one pet and I've always wanted since I was a little girl is a wiener dog. I know a few people that have them, and I want one SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad! Whoa... off topic here.
So kids, can you stop screaming and getting jam hands? Thanks, that would be highly appreciated. :P

Thank You & Good Bye
Last week was seniors' last day and I'm sure going to miss a lot of them! I was home sick as a dog and I didn't get to say good bye to any of them. I wanted to scream and cry but I didn't have that much energy to even think about it let alone actually doing it. :)
The senior that I'm going to miss the most is one of my best friends, Andy Davies. We met my freshman year and I didn't know if I liked him then or not, it was weird because I was starting a new school and had no idea how everything worked let alone ready to make new friends. Overtime I realized he was a great guy and we became pretty good friends.
Sophomore year we became closer because our lockers were 3 away from each other and we talked every day about the most random things you could possibly think of, but that's our friendship, it's great.
Junior year.... oh boy. I finally got texting on my phone and all we did was talk all day. There was no such thing as class lol. Then when we were both "doing homework" (wink wink) on the computer at night, we talked.
Now it's time to say good bye :(. I'm just glad that he's going to Kirkwood so he'll still be around and there's a chance he's going to Iowa, those are the two colleges I really want to attend. I feel like I'm stalking him, but I promise I'm really not.
He's been there for me when no one else was, he's always stood by my side when I thought the world was falling apart, and no matter how many stupid mistakes I've made, he's always been there laughing and not judging me for them.
So I want to say thank you! Thank you for always being there, thank you for always understanding, and thank you for always caring. I love you and I'm sure going to miss you next year.

Love of the Game
hhoocckkeeyy!!
me gusta! :)
As every one knows, the way that you're raised is how you're going to act in the future, well in most cases. When I was a little thing, I watched hockey instead of Veggie Tales and cartoons. Don't get wrong, there was still a lot of the Power Rangers, but hockey was my 2nd favorite.
When I was 8 I had my first chance to see a professional game, St. Louis Blues vs. Colorado Avalanche. I couldn't wait! Avalanche are my favorite team and my sister was determined to marry Peter Forsberg, #21, forward, and one of the best in the league. Obviously, the avalanche won :P and we had three drunk St. Louis fans yelling and hollering at us as we were walking back to the car. Naturally, my sister, who has a big mouth, started yelling back and lets just say that we won that argument and the idiots shut up. Once finally at the car we realized we had a problem, we were blocked in by the Blue's team bus. DARN! While they were filing out, we managed to grab some autographs and finally we were able to leave. That was a great day and an awesome start to my obsession.
Now i've been to 2 or 3 professional games, about 3 feeding team games, and many many more of the USHL games. Our local team, the CR Roughriders are fun to watch even though Mark Carlson needs to pull his you-know-what out of his butt sometimes. Also with me growing a mouth like my sister, I've managed to school some of the players with my knowledge of the game and found a lot of humor in that :D. Now my best friend, Michaela, wants me to take her to games and teach her about hockey. That took a lot of begging and pleading but I finally agreed to it. Boy was that an adventure! She had no idea what was going on 98% of the time and had no idea who was doing what, where, when, or why. Although her ignorance and confusion was entertaining, I didn't get to watch as much of the game as I wanted to. Oh well, I'll be back :)
My room is covered in hockey posters, signs, pictures, and figurines, my closet has jerseys and t-shirts, my bed post has hats and visors from my favorite teams, and my dresser has stuffed animals with hockey jerseys on them. How cute! lol

Plane Ticket = Saran Wrap & Donuts
3 weeks from today I'll be in virginia!! YAY!
VA is my 2nd favorite place to be, some of my best friends live there, and so does some of my family. Jeremy, my cousin and one of my best friends, and Travis, ex and another one of my best friends, are the main reasons that I'm so excited. The three of us are amazing and hilarious together!
With the amount of excitement that I have, the plane ride seems to take forever! It's about 6ish hours but seems like a year and 1/2. We fly in about 10-11 at night and are spending a whole week having fun and away from stupid Iowa. Woot! This year with school, health, work, etc, has officially drained me and I need to get away. If it was up to Jeremy, Travis, and me, I'd stay in VA for the whole summer, but mama doesn't quite like that plan :(.
Last year Jeremy were out almost every night doing god knows what, well trying to stay out of trouble which almost never works, but always have fun. One night we got the sudden idea to mess up his buddy's car. Now this is important to understand, David (his friend), loves his truck more than any thing in this world, so that made it that much more fun for us :)... sorry David but you were laughing about it in the end. So we went to a drug store, bought donuts, shaving cream, and oogles and oogles of saran wrap. We were set! So once the check out guy was done hitting on me and staring me down, we left and called up Emma to help us. Later that night, the three of us snuck out and ran down the street to use our weapons. With the three of us having some what of a heart, we didn't use too much shaving cream and just ate the donuts (we were hungry) but we put the saran wrap to good use! In the morning when he had to work, he came outside to a very nice surprise :) love ya David!
So in 3 weeks lord knows what the we're all going to get in but there's never been a dull moment yet. Whether it's renting cartoons and laughing uncontrollably, driving around, or saran wrapping a friends car, I know VA is where I belong and I have the greatest people to help me enjoy it. Love you all and see you in 21 days!

Mi Pobre Ojos!
Contacts are a pain in my BBUUTTTT!!
For my birthday, my parents gave me contacts, which at the time, I REALLY wanted them. Boy was my head in the clouds! I went in yesterday for the training and it took me an hour just to get the dumb things in, then once I FINALLY got them in, I had to go through training to learn how to pull the dumb things out. Ugh!
The lenses are so small and slippery, but since they're mine, they automatically hate me. They either always fell off my finger or the stupid things wouldn't come off! GRRR! Why can't you be like normal contacts and just go in my eye? seriously now, get with the program here sparky!
Then for practice, last night I finished my homework and went in the bathroom to try them once again. That was a BAD idea! I ended up getting so frustrated that I almost threw them across the room and started swearing at them :\ oops. So i gave up and went to bed.
So for another shot, I went at them again this morning. After 45 minutes of poking myself in the eye, I finally got them in! YAY! So the battle is now, how in the world do you see out of them!? My vision is blurry and I'm starting to get a headache. The prescription is different so I think that's part of the problem, but there's something in my eye! Oh geez this is a lot of work!!
gr! i'm going to figure these dumb things out even if it turns me blind!
